Welcome to our adult board game group based in Wigan, Lancashire! We are a fun and friendly community of board game enthusiasts who gather regularly to enjoy our favorite hobby together.
Dice Tavern is one of the friendliest, board game groups in Wigan and the North West UK.
Our group is open to anyone who enjoys playing board games and is over 18 years old. We have a diverse range of members from all walks of life, and we welcome everyone, regardless of their level of experience with board games. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a beginner, you are sure to find a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our group.
At our events, we play a wide variety of board games, ranging from classic favorites to modern and innovative games. We have something for everyone, including strategy games, party games, card games, RPGS, D&D and more. Our members are always willing to teach new games and help others learn the rules, so don't be afraid to jump in and try something new.
Our group is more than just a place to play games. We are a community of friends who share a common interest in board gaming. We believe that games are a great way to bring people together and foster social connections. Our gatherings are always lively and fun, with plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
Meeting twice a month at Whelans Sports Bar DW Stadium in Wigan playing a variety modern board games, tabletop RPGs, D&D, miniature skirmish games, war games and Card Games. Please see our events page for opening days.
On top of which we run regular special events (exclusive game previews), competitions, tournaments and regular gaming and geek related market stalls.
